Did you know that some of the most powerful tools for reading and writing are sitting in your pocket? Built into our phones and computers are accessibility features such as text to speech, dictation, predictive text and even distraction management tools that can be used to individuate the reading and writing experience for ANY student. Come work with Travis, Assistive Technology Specialist from SFUSD's Assistive Technology Innovation Center, to get hands on experience with some of the tools and strategies we used in SPED to personalise the reading and writing experience for your students.
