Makey Makey Some Fun with Physical Computing for Grade 3-8 Teachers

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Explore creative ways to combine STEAM and physical computing to engage your students in learning! Makey Makeys allow students to extend their computers so they are controlled by everyday objects, making it possible to create a banana piano, a tinfoil alarm, or a playdough game controller. Come join in the fun with this hands-on session, where you will learn some basic computer science and how to use Makey Makeys. You will leave this session with many lessons and ideas to lead in your own classroom. This session is open to all teachers, though targeted at grades 3-8.
